Dale’s Best Brownies May 16, 2009

If you are looking for a good and easy-to-make brownie recipie, here’s one! 

Dale’s Best Brownies

1 cup (2 sticks) butter
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons good vanilla extract
4 eggs
3/4 cup cocoa or European style cocoa
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, etc)

Heat over to 350 degrees. Great a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. In large microwave-safe bowl, place butter. Microwave on 100% (high) 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until melted. 

Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with spoon after each addition.

Add cocoa; beat until well blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well. Stir in nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake 30-35 minutes until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

Yield: 36 brownies

These are really chocolately and gooey!! And GOOD!
