If you take digital photos or have a large collection of digital images you use for various projects, you know how challenging it can be to keep them organized. What is nice about “Picasa” is 1) it’s a free program from Google; 2) it allows you to manage your photos and digital images in one place, and find photos you forgot you had; 3) allows you to edit them to fix red-eye, crop and more; 4) create photos into movies, collages, slide shows and more; and 5) share them by uploading seamlessly to Picasa Web Albums to share with friends, family and the world.
I have moved to the digital world for photography, and just uploaded over 200 pictures into Picasa. It is a fast and efficient way to organize not only photos but digital images. With maintaining web sites for myself and several other organizations, I have to keep digital images (logos, clip art, etc.) in some logical sense of organization!
Picasa 3 has just been launched and is available to download, at no cost! It’s a Google product, so you know it’s great! Visit the Picasa web site at http://picasa.google.com/
